Bella Vita

Italian kitchen & wood-fired pizzeria in Lichfield.

Bella Vita started in 2015 with a simple idea: proper Italian food, made fresh, in a warm and welcoming room. Our pasta is rolled in-house every morning, our pizzas come out of a wood-fired oven, and our sauces are slow-cooked the way they should be.

We're a family-run kitchen, and it shows in the way we look after people — whether you're popping in for a quick lunch, bringing the whole family for Sunday dinner, or booking the back room for a celebration.

We're right in the centre of Lichfield, a couple of minutes from the cathedral. Walk in any time, book ahead for busy evenings, or let us bring it to you with delivery across the city.

Do I need to book a table?

Walk-ins are always welcome, but we do get busy in the evenings and at weekends, so we’d recommend booking ahead if you can. Give us a call or send a message and we’ll get you in.

Can you cater for allergies and dietary requirements?

Yes — we have vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options across the menu, and many dishes can be adapted. Please let your server know about any allergies before you order so we can look after you properly.

Is there parking nearby?

There’s pay-and-display parking on Market Street and a short walk away at the Bird Street and Friarsgate car parks. Evenings and Sundays are usually easiest.

Do you do private dining or large groups?

We do. Our back room seats up to 24 and is great for birthdays, work dos and celebrations. We can put together a set menu to suit — get in touch and we’ll talk it through.
